Espaces Politiques

Edited by Rémi Lefebvre and Marie Saiget

This collection of books seeks to study the diverse facets of contemporary politics.
Spaces: territories, arenas, configurations in state, international or local frameworks where politics unfolds in its changing and variable forms.
Policies: to grasp the forms of political discourse, the multiplicity of the spheres concerned (actors, modes of governance, “crises”, etc.), the diversity of activist practices, and forms of mobilization.

The collection aims to be the locus for understanding emerging mechanisms, which question the boundaries of politics and which invite us to de-centre our perspective in comparison with classical approaches to politics (power, elections, government). It seeks to value comparative approaches in order to better grasp the major international issues in the evolution of political practices.
Finally, it values interdisciplinary approaches, considering that politics gains in understanding when confronted with history, sociology, anthropology, law, etc. This collection contains both collective works, scientific essays, and the results of investigations ... by either established or early career researchers.
