1Mark van Atten is Senior Researcher at CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research), affiliated with the Institute Sciences, Normes, Décision (CNRS/Paris 4). He is the author of Brouwer Meets Husserl: On the Phenomenology of Choice Sequences (Springer, 2007) and of Essays on Gödel’s Reception of Leibniz, Husserl, and Brouwer (Springer, 2015).

2Eric Audureau is Researcher at CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research) in philosophy of science affiliated with the Centre for Epistemology (CEPERC) at Aix-Marseille Université. His field of research is the relationship between science and philosophy during the third scientific revolution (1879-1936). His thesis entitled “Kurt Gödel, critique de la relativité générale” appeared in 2004. Together with Julien Bernard he has recently completed a commented and annotated edition of Hermann Weyl’s “Mathematische Analyse des Raumproblems” that is accompanied by a French translation, as well as a paper on “Poincaré, critique de Dedekind”.

3Julien Bernard is Post-Doctoral Researcher in Philosophy (University of Konstanz, Zukunftskolleg, Germany). His work is focused on the philosophers-scientists of the twentieth century, and their link with the philosophical systems of the seventeenth century, and with German idealism. He recently published “L’idéalisme dans l’infinitésimal”.

4Paola Cantù is Researcher at CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research) in Philosophy of Logic and Mathematics and affiliated with the Centre for Epistemology (CEPERC) at Aix-Marseille Université. She is the author of There’s the Rub! Fallacies in Public Debate (Bollati Boringhieri, 2011), and the co-editor of Logic and Pragmatism. Selected Writings of Giovanni Vailati (CSLI Publications, 2009).

5Gabriella Crocco is Full Professor at Aix-Marseille University and Director of the Center of Comparative Epistemology and Ergology of CNRS. She works on the history and philosophy of logic and mathematics and in particular on the relationship between philosophy and science in the XX century. Her writings have examined figures such as Frege, Poincaré, Russell, Gödel, Quine and Vuillemin.

6John W. Dawson, Jr. is Professor Emeritus of Mathematics at Pennsylvania State University, York, USA. His principal domains of interest are: History of modern logic and philosophy of mathematical practice. Book in preparation: Why Prove It Again? Alternative Proofs in Mathematical Practice.

7 Eva-Maria Engelen is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Konstanz, Germany. Among her latest books is: Vom Leben zur Bedeutung. Philosophische Studien zum Verhältnis von Gefühl, Bewusstsein und Sprache, Berlin/Boston (Walter de Gruyter) 2014. Her principal domains of interest are philosophy of mind and philosophy of language. She has also developed a sustained engagement with the history of philosophy over the years.

8Juliet Floyd is Professor of Philosophy at Boston University, USA. She researches the history of twentieth century philosophy, especially epistemology, aesthetics, and the philosophy of logic and mathematics. She has an abiding interest in the nature of objectivity. Her writings have examined figures such as Kant, Wittgenstein, Gödel, Turing, Rawls and Quine, and themes such as the nature of rigor, modernism, simplicity, and the limits of formalization (cf. http://

9Silvia Haring, M.S. in Psychology, University of Salzburg, Austria. Her domains of interest are: theory of knowledge, theory of values, children’s cognitive development and understanding of identity in child development.

10Akihiro Kanamori is Professor of Mathematics at Boston University, USA. Principal domains of interest are set theory, mathematical logic and philosophy of mathematics. Among his latest books are: The Higher Infinite, Springer 2009, 536pp. and Handbook of Set Theory, edited with Matthew Foreman, 3 vols., Springer 2010, 2197 p.

11Eberhard Knobloch is Professor Emeritus of History of Science and Technology at the Berlin University of Technology and Academy Professor at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (Germany), member of several national and international Academies of Sciences. His main interest in philosophy is philosophy of mathematical sciences.

12Montgomery Link is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Suffolk University, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A. His principle domain of research is the philosophy of mathematics.

13Oran Magal is a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Montreal Inter-University Research Group Existence et connaissance des objets mathématiques. He wrote his PhD dissertation at McGill University on the topic: “What is mathematical about mathematics?”.

14Amélie Mertens is PhD student in Philosophy at the Université Aix-Marseille, CEPERC, France. Her thesis is linked to the project “Kurt Gödel philosopher: from logic to cosmology” directed by Gabriella Crocco. She is working on Gödel’s conceptual realism in the Max Phil, and on the Leibnizian influence on Gödel as to the links between logic, ontology and metaphysics.

15Massimo Mugnai teaches history and philosophy of logic at the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, Italy. He is the author of Leibniz’s Theory of Relations (Steiner Verlag, Stuttgart, 1992) and of several papers and essays on Leibniz’s philosophy. Recently he has contributed with three chapters to the Oxford Companion to Leibniz (forthcoming). He is also interested in medieval logic and in the history and philosophy of modal logic.

16 Claudio Ternullo received his PhD in Philosophy from the University of Pisa and Liverpool. He is currently Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Kurt Gödel Research Center in Vienna (Austria), where he is collaborating on Sy Friedman’s “Hyperuniverse Programme” on the foundations of set theory. His main interests lie in the philosophy of mathematics (in particular, the philosophy of set theory), logic and ancient philosophy.

17Richard Tieszen is Professor of Philosophy at California State University-San José, USA. He is the author of After Gödel: Platonism and Rationalism in Mathematics and Logic (Oxford University Press 2011, 2013) and Phenomenology, Logic and the Philosophy of Mathematics (Cambridge University Press 2009). He is also interested in philosophy of mind and philosophy of time.

18Paul Weingartner is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Salzburg, Austria. His principal domains of interest are: logic, philosophy of science, philosophy of religion. Among his latest books are: Laws of Nature (together with Peter Mittelstaedt), Springer 2005 and God´s Existence, Can it be Proven? A Logical Commentary on the Five Ways of Thomas Aquinas, Ontos, Frankfurt 2010.
