Voix des Suds

Edited by Raphaël Carrasco

Both an invitation to travel and a pluralistic inquiry into all aspects of the cultures of Southern Europe, the Mediterranean and Latin America, the “Voix des Suds” collection aims to explore from the inside the complex realities captured across various durations and spaces.

Academic, scholarly, literary and artistic, the originality and raison d’être of this collection lies in the desire of its founders to compare pathways and perspectives, and to multiply linkages while giving voice to differences. “Voix des Suds” is a rich collection of information obtained thanks to the help of the new research team resulting from the grouping of the various previous collections.

The “Voix des Suds” collection has a two-fold ambition. On the one hand, the aim is to disseminate the results of first-hand investigations in a wide variety of fields: art, literature, history, society and anthropology. On the other hand, “Voix des Suds” wishes, through critical editions and translations, to raise the profile of texts and documents to which access was hitherto reserved only to specialists.
