1François Alla
is a Professor of Public Health at Bordeaux University and the Director of the Prevention Department of Bordeaux University Hospital. His research focuses mainly on health policy and the mobilisation of health system actors for prevention and health promotion. He founded the National Coordinated Action for Population Health Intervention Research. His research approach is informed by, and in return informs, a practice of public health action and decision-making at the national and regional levels.

2Linda Cambon
is the Head of the Population Health Intervention Research Methods (MeRSIP) Phares team at Inserm U1219, Bordeaux Population Health, Bordeaux University, and Director of a chair at the Institute of Public Health Epidemiology and Development (ISPED) dedicated to prevention. Her research is focused on the effectiveness, transferability, and scaling up of health prevention and promotion interventions, as well as on interventions related to the structural determinants of health. She is developing a meta-analysis study on evaluation methods and their hybridisation to understand the complexity of these interventions. She is co-piloting the first national research network in this field (SO-RISP)

3Valéry Ridde
is Director of Research at Ceped, a joint research unit of Université Paris Cité and the Institut de recherche pour le développement (IRD). He was a Professor of Global Health at the School of Public Health at the University of Montreal. He is currently based at the Institute of Health and Development (ISED) of the Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar (Senegal). His research and evaluation studies focus on universal health coverage, health services funding, evaluation, public health policy, and health promotion.
