Ce site présente les ouvrages publiés par l’IFRA-Nigeria entre 1995 et 2020, en accès ouvert tout format. Les recherches menées par l’IFRA-Nigeria couvrent dix pays d’Afrique de l’Ouest : Nigeria, Cameroun, Bénin, Togo, Ghana, Liberia, Gambie, Niger, Tchad et Burkina Faso. Au cours de ces années, l’IFRA a axé ses recherches sur les problèmes de transition démocratique, de violence urbaine, de restructuration des systèmes éducatifs en Afrique, d’études transfrontalières, de réseaux religieux, de gestion urbaine et de politique de la violence. Toutefois, un large éventail de disciplines a également été représenté, allant de l’histoire à la musicologie, en passant par l’économie, la linguistique, l’archéologie, etc. Depuis 2022, les livres portés par l’institut sont à retrouver au sein des éditions Africae, qui rassemblent les publications des Instituts français de recherche de l’unité Afrique au sud du Sahara : IFRA-Nairobi (Afrique de l’Est), IFRA-Nigeria, SFDAS (Soudan), IFAS-Recherche (Afrique australe).
