Jean-François Pérouse
1I would like to briefly greet all of you on behalf of the IFEA. Also, I would like to thank all of you from Marburg, Barcelona and Istanbul who have contributed to the preparation of this meeting. You all know the conditions of Social Sciences research in Europe today, which sometimes makes the preparation of these kinds of meetings difficult. However, we also know that these conditions will not prevent us from addressing such crucial issues as those we will try to address today.
