Portugal de Perto

Two criteria preside over the selection of titles for this series, criteria already suggested in its very name - Portugal de Perto. First of all, they all refer to the Portuguese area, studying the most diverse aspects of their culture (we could say: of their cultures). Secondly, these studies are carried out more or less “closely”, on the basis of direct data collection work, sometimes proposing to bring back even more “closely” slices of neglected or unknown reality.  All this in the limits of a disciplinary area which, roughly, goes from ethnography to anthropology and addresses not only scholars and specialists, but also a curious audience.
