ebook’IS Policies
Ebook’IS is CEI-IUL’s new publishing series, dedicated to publish monographs and edited volumes in digital form, made available in a wide range of reading formats, and compatible with the main operating systems and electronic devices.
This high-quality peer-reviewed series is an important element in the international diffusion of CEI-IUL’s research, and also offers interested external researchers the opportunity to publish the results of their investigation.
We accept original manuscripts but also offer to republish exclusively in digital format books of high quality and lasting merit previously published in paper, in case they are free from publishing copyright constraints.
Although we can and do accept standalone proposals – i.e., one-off publications covering a particular subject in the general area of international studies (either a monograph or an edited volume), the Ebook’IS series publishing policy tends to address the regional research areas currently covered at CEI-IUL (Africa, Asia, Europe and Transatlantic relations) and its main research lines, namely: Institutions, Governance and International Relations; Societal and Development Challenges; Economy and Globalization.
Peer-Reviews
All submitted manuscripts for publication are subject to an extensive peer review in consultation with members of the EbookIS Editorial Board and independent external referees, according to a double-blind review policy. All manuscripts are assessed rapidly and the decision, based on the aggregation of all peer reviewers’ comments, taken by the eBook Editor-in-Chief, is then conveyed to author(s).
